Bangladeshi Taka (BDT)

Bangladeshi taka (BDT) payments to Bangladeshi previously suspended have now been reinstated

Summary: Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) payments are now reinstated and will be processed business as usual.

Bangladeshi taka (BDT) payments temporarily suspended

Summary: As of March 26th, 2020,  BDT payments are not available.

East Caribbean Dollar (XCD)

East Caribbean Dollar (XCD) payments capabilities update

Summary: As of today, XCD payments to all non-Republic Bank beneficiaries are reinstated and now available for processing in Antigua, Grenada, Montserrat and Saint Kitts & Nevis.  

There are no longer any XCD payment limitations remaining.

Payments to Republic Bank beneficiaries in those regions and XCD payments to all other countries can be processed as usual.

Summary: XCD payments to all beneficiary banks in Dominica and Saint Lucia are now available to be processed.  XCD payments to Grenada remain unavailable for processing at this time.

Payments to Republic Bank beneficiaries in those regions and XCD payments to all other countries can be processed as usual.

Summary: Payments to HNL are available for processing with immediate effect.

Update: USD payments to Honduras are not impacted by the below.

Summary: With immediate effect, Honduran lempira (HNL) trading and settlement is suspended due to the implications of COVID-19 in Honduras. Trading and outstanding payments (if any) are adjourned until further notice.

Jordanian Dinar (JOD)

Payments to Jordan reinstated

Summary: Payments to Jordan in all currencies (including Jordanian Dinar) are now reinstated and will be processed business as usual.

Update: Payments to a beneficiary bank in Jordan will not be processed – regardless of the currency.

Summary: With immediate effect, payments to Jordan will not be processed due to COVID-19 related issues. Jordanian dinar (JOD) payments will not be processed.

 


Nepalese Rupee (NPR)

Payments to Nepal reinstated

Summary:  With immediate effect, Nepalese Rupee (NPR) payments have been reinstated. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to the shortened operating hours of the local banks.

Summary: With immediate effect, payments to Nepal in Nepalese Rupee (NPR) and any other currency are suspended due to COVID-19 related issues.
