Highlights include:

USD:  U.S. inflation holds the keys to both the outlook for Fed policy and the dollar’s coming prospects.
CAD:  New restrictions aimed at slowing Canada’s latest wave of infections have shown signs of slowing the nation’s economy.
GBP:  The pound is significantly above its five-year average rate of $1.30 and may test fresh three-year highs over the summer months if economic data continues to positively surprise.
EUR:  Monetary divergences between the USA and euro area remain a key catalyst for EUR/USD volatility, hence high interest in meetings scheduled this month.
JPY:  A revival of geopolitical tension between China and Russia will be monitored during the upcoming G7 meeting. Sanctions could revive market doubts.
