Andrew Summerill

In 2015 Andrew moved from Sydney to take on the role of CFO, in his previous capacity he was Vice President Finance APAC.

Andrew has been with Western Union since the 2011 acquisition of Travelex, where he held positions as APAC Finance Director, APAC Financial Controller and UK Head of Finance for Retail.

Before joining the financial services sector Andrew held senior position in various industries including construction, manufacturing and utilities and has worked and lived in various countries.

Andrew lives in London and holds a degree in business and is a chartered accountant.

Cynthia Cross

Cynthia Cross is the head of the legal department of the Western Union Business Solutions division, overseeing all global legal operations including those in Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Western Union in 2011, Cynthia acted as the divisional General Counsel for Travelex Global Business Payments. During her eight year tenure with the Travelex Group, Cynthia held various positions including VP and Head of Legal for Travelex Americas and Head of Legal for Travelex Australia and at various times has supported multiple types of financial service operations including retail foreign exchange, prepaid cards, and ATM services.

Cynthia started her legal career as a solicitor with the Toronto-based law firm Lang Michener (now McMillan) where she specialized in business law and corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Currently based in Toronto, Cynthia has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since her call to the Ontario bar in 2000. She obtained a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1998 and an LL.M. from New York University School of Law in 2004.

Jacqueline Keogh

Jacqueline Keogh joined Western Union Business Solutions in 2016, and brings a wealth of experience building and growing international businesses within Transaction Banking and Commercial Banking.

As a financial services executive Jacqueline’s strength lies in consistently delivering business growth by leveraging extensive banking experience, industry contacts and client knowledge, along with direct expertise in product development, sales performance, and management of external environment. 

Prior to joining Western Union Business Solutions Jacqueline held executive committee roles at Lloyds Banking Group, and Standard Chartered Bank where she achieved double digit growth for three consecutive years. 

Jacqueline has also spent 10 years in a variety of senior roles at SWIFT. During this time she gained extensive and diverse product management experience including real-time cash management, payments exceptions and investigations, bulk payments, foreign exchange and derivative netting and matching products.

Michel Foricher

As Vice President Operations at Global Payments, Michel Foricher is responsible for ensuring that business transactions are sent and received well and in time by our customers.

Customer satisfaction and service quality are two critical areas under his responsibility in addition to rolling out of systems enhancements for clients. Michel has a team of 700 people located all over the world including mid and back office functions, global operations and accreditation teams. 

Michel Foricher joined Western Union in 2000 as Operations Manager for West Africa. He has held a variety of progressively responsible positions with the company, including Operations Director for Africa from 2001 to 2004, Business development Director for Southern and Eastern Africa from 2004 to 2006, Network Director at SFDP (“Société financière de Paiements”) in France from 2006 to 2009. From 2009 to 2013, Michel Foricher worked in the medical industry managing clinics in Vietnam as General Manager for International SOS. Michel came back to Western Union in 2013 in Dubai as Vice President Service delivery for Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Russia & CIS. He took over Operations at Payments in September 2017.

Michel started his career in 1995 within the consulting industry in France where he gained extensive experience in network management, productivity, service delivery and operations. He is also Six Sigma and ISO certified and brings to his role a lot of project management experience.

Michel Foricher, a French national, has a bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences from Lille University and a master’s in Project Management and Economy from Paris VI University.

Neil Graham

Neil was previously CEO of Cash Flows, a UK based payments business where he had overall responsibility for setting the direction for the business and for the development and execution of the growth plan on behalf of the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining CashFlows, Neil was Regional Managing Director, UK at WUBS. Starting at Travelex Global Business Payments in 2008, Neil was part of the Travelex team that managed the sale process to Western Union in 2011.He was head-hunted to the CashFlows role in 2012.

Neil’s background is in General Management, Sales& Channel Management, Solution Sales,Information Technology Consulting and Product Management. Following successful careers with Lucas Industries, Paxus Services and Financial Systems in New Zealand, Neil spent 14 years in consulting, sales and senior management roles with Oracle Corporation in Asia Pacific. Neil moved to Asia with Oracle in 1997 and held various Asia Pacific wide management posts to Vice President level in Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Singapore.

Neil brings a breadth and depth of global and executive management experience back to his role at Western Union.

Neil was educated in New Zealand and the United Kingdom and carries various diplomas in Information Management.

Neil was born in the UK but spent his formative years growing up in New Zealand when his parents emigrated there in 1974. After an early career in programming, systems analysis and consulting, Neil did what many of us down-under do and spent time overseas building his international experience. Last year, after 21 years away, Neil and his wife decided to come back to be closer to family and friends. His family home is now on the Gold Coast. Neil has 2 children, Nick and Kelly who also reside in Queensland.

Nicole Zimmermann

Nicole has a degree in Economics with majors in Marketing and Accounting from Johannes-Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany, with continuing education at London Business School (Marketing Strategies) and Danube University (Certified CRM Program Manager. Nicole joined Western Union in July 2007 as Director of Marketing in a regional role for Central & South East Europe.

Her responsibilities included the development of new marketing strategies and go-to-market approaches for key remittance segments in Europe by analyzing the market and consumer data, segment target groups and developing the most relevant value propositions for the existing customer base. As the region grew, Nicole became Vice President of Europe, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. In 2011 Nicole relocated to Denver, Colorado and took on a newly created role to lead the Global Marketing Strategy, Planning and New Customer Segment Development team.

Her role expanded in 2012 to include the Global Customer Relationship Management and Loyalty programs. In 2014 Nicole moved again into a the newly built Transformation Office to support projects around customer experience, marketing and network productivity.This work transitioned into the WU Way and in this capacity, Nicole continued to work on growth and CRM initiatives. From June 2016 to May 2018 Nicole was selected among 10 high potentials to developed and implement the cultural change and lean management program at Western Union called “WU Way”.

Recently she joined the Global Payments business unit as Head of Customer and Marketing to manage our global customer, marketing and communications teams who are responsible for driving the strategic segment marketing and customer experience programs, activities and campaigns.

Scott Johnson

Scott Johnson leads product innovation and development at Western Union Business Solutions, as Vice-President Product.

Scott started working for Paymap Inc. (a subsidiary of Western Union) in their San Francisco call center in 2000. Scott worked on the Paymap business for 8 years in a variety of roles, eventually taking on site leadership of Paymap’s San Francisco office and management responsibility for the 150+ person Paymap Operations team.

After working through the transition and closure of the San Francisco Paymap office in 2008, Scott relocated to Denver’s Western Union office, taking on various Operations leadership and strategy roles, eventually joining the integration team for Custom House (acquired in 2009), which was subsequently rebranded to Western Union Business Solutions. During this stint of his career, Scott led various Operations teams and drove several transformation and integration initiatives.

After Western Union acquired Travelex Global Business Payments, Scott led the integration of the Go To Market functions before joining the global Product team. He’s spent most of the last 6 years in a variety of Product roles, including running the governance and prioritization processes and acting as Product Director for GlobalPay for Financial Institutions (GPFI). Scott has most recently served as Chief Product Architect, where he formed the vision for Western Union Business Solutions’ modernization program, helped launch the WU EDGE and NGO GlobalPay products, and lead a strong team of Product Managers responsible for WU EDGE, GlobalPay for Financial Institutions, the WUBS payment processing system, and our portfolio of legacy applications.

Scott has a degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix and is based in Denver, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.

Tristan van der Vijver

Tristan van der Vijver leads Western Union Business Solutions commitment to compliance on a global level.

With more than 15 years’ experience managing compliance and global teams, van der Vijver has a deep understanding of international and cross border compliance topics.

Prior to his current role van der Vijver served as Managing Director Regional Compliance Americas, Asia and UK at Commerzbank. During this time he also managed compliance integration in Singapore after the acquisition of Dresdner Bank, and served as Regional Compliance Head for the Americas.

Tristan has also garnered significant experience in financial compliance while working for Lazard, Panmure Gordon and ABN AMRO.

van der Vijver is based in Hammersmith, London. He has studied in both the United States and United Kingdom, and holds degrees in Banking and Economics.
